My Son Kolton

Hello Kolton my beautiful baby boy
Our wonderful little pride and joy
I can see you but I just can't hold you
It's not the easiest thing a parent can go through
I'm really just trying to be strong for you
Because it's something that you would want me to do
But seeing you like this makes me feel weak
As the tears trickle down my cheek
How can somethng so small bring me so many emotions
Not being able to tell left with words unspoken
It's funny how a 3 pound 12 ounce baby boy
Can already bring me so much joy
You came out in this world just a little bit smaller
So I'll keep an eye on you every day until you grow stronger
Don't you worry sweet little son of mine
I'll make sure you know you're loved all of the time
 Coming out a month early
Really made you mother and me worry
But if you're as strong as I know you are
You'll pass all of these complications with a golden star...
I love you KOLTON JOSEPH ECHOLS
