My Solace

She understands me wholly
When others can’t comprehend
She loves me unconditionally
Never does she pretend.

Gentle and soft spoken
She whispers silent words
Comforting and enchanting
Sweet melody of all birds

In silence, I hear her mantra
In chaos, I run to her
In rejection, she’s my solace
My poetic literature 

Most humble in her fame
Solitude is her name
