My Sister Ruth

Who can figure her worth?
She's an angel on earth--
A lady of excellent beauty.
For Jesus she lives,
And her service she gives
Beyond the requirements of duty

In your depths of despair,
You will find her right there
To help you to carry your load.
She'll reach out for your hand,
And will help you to stand,
When you're weary from life's rocky road.

I would like her to know.
That she was my hero
Through the years of my childhood and youth--
And she still is, today.
So, what more can I say?
That sweet angel is my sister Ruth.
