She's my only trusting alibi, She's my tissue when I cry.. She's my up when down I go, She's my high when I'm feeling low... She's my lender and helps me out, She's my soft voice when I shout.. She's my unconditional friend , She's my fixer and helps me mend.. Shes teacher from her I learn,She's my ice when I burn... She's someone special guess who she is? Well she's my one and only sis ***

Glad you found your sister, Sheree, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. Thankyou for your comment and advice , not really sure if I would say I've had or have any poetic skills , my poems are something I don't where they come from but I often have this urge to write one . Often it's about my brother who died 11 yrs ago from melanoma, i wanted to write something for him at the funeral and after that I guess every now and then something pops into my head and I write a poem (well try to anyway) , thanks heaps for your acknowledgement and support xx
