My Silence, I Cannot End

A hatred for myself, I possess
A traitor, I have become
Spoken to you, I have not
Your voice, I have denied
For vocal, is my monologue only
Your name, inhabiting each sentence

A fool, I have become
Wronged me, you have never
Though cold, I choose to be
Blatantly ignoring the person, who has stolen my thoughts
In the hope of my enveloped feelings, disappearing

Understand my actions, I do not
My intentions, are fruitless
For the pain that I cause myself
Can be sustained by no being
As your presence, I need again
Though its preciousness, I can afford no more

My direction from here, is as I must
My eyes shall be your followers still
Whilst my heart shall seek another
For reciprocation, my words fear now
Another does not need to forgive
Only to you, has my silence been
