My Silence
I keep my lips sealed
let their hearts be healed.
mouth remains closed
the urdge stays opposed.
watching the world,
with lips staying curled.
much to learn
without the burn.
silence is best
let your vocal cords rest
perminently
can't hurt them
no matter the outcome
wont say a word
It'll be unheard.
If I must speak,
cover you ears.
I am too weak,
Dont waste your tears
my lips havent bent to the shape of a word in 24 hours.
Letting my thoughts out in typed towers.
mouth shut,
eyes open
Watching to learn.
waiting to earn,
my privlage of speech
time to let life teach.
If you listen to my silence,
you wont find violence.
yet you'll see a full moon
dripping with a gentle toon.
my silence is listening,
to the song glistening,
off the moon's light
a calming site.
my silence is learning,
waiting for times turning.
sitting uner the stars
wondering what is ours.
my silence can be hurting.
might be to avoid asserting.
knowing the fault is mine
could be a sign
my silence flexes and flows
sweet like spring's first rose.
or just another introvert
trying to hide the hurt.
My silence is part of me,
loving it is key.
to the locked parts of my heart
another peice of the puzzle showing art
once all the peices collide
ill feel it inside.
heart finally complete
ready for life nectar, so sweet
untill then,
maybe I'll stay silent again.
letting words tumble out of my fingers
and may my words linger
