My Shepherd Cares Fo Me

The Lord Jesus is my shepherd, Green pastures are my bed. Beside a gently flowing stream Of living waters I am led. And God feeds my hungry spirit With His manna from above. He’s my shepherd, and He leads me In His paths of wondrous love. In the valley of death's shadow My soul need know no fear, For the giver of all life Is forever standing near. I am guided through the darkness By His constant, holy light. He’s my Shepherd and He’ll lead me Through this land of darkest night. Though the foe camps all around me, My soul is safe from harm; I am safely in the shelter Of God's mighty outstretched arm. I know Satan cannot touch me While my Savior holds my hand; He’s my Shepherd, and He’ll lead me To the happy promised land. He'll not leave me nor forsake me; Of this, I have no doubt. And when I get in trouble, He's right there to help me out. I have come to trust His saving power; His sure truth has set me free. The Lord Jesus my Shepherd And I know He cares for me.
