My Shallow Heart

My shallow heart was fighting
Against the trance of the love that I sacrificed
Trying to peek into the brighter side
Erasing the every scars of tears that I cried

Some kind of energy inside
Felt like transforming into my thoughts
And yet at same time making me perfectly numb
Creating a different world within my head
I was told the grass was greener on the other side
But it took my soul hundred of years to search far and wide

And now I lay here, a sad and a broken heart
