My Shadow
The long dark night shadow
Accompanies me despite no ado
A friend or a foe, is in toe
It pays to bow, until they think so
My own shadow, though
Is with me in light low & none to show
Scary they grow, unlike a fine pro
They don't finish & go, may cause a woe
Everywhere they follow, be it dark or glow
It's my fault though, if I can't see so
Existence proved by shadow, sure creates no row
Long, short, broad or narrow; it's to be my shadow
None can stop the flow, nor can one crush or blow
Me & my shadow, an inseparable duo.
