My Shadow

My shadow on the wall It is not as bold as it was before And it's blurry; what's more. My image is much bigger Not brighter. Each time I see my shadow, The image gets lighter, Every day as night falls, My shadow disappears from the wall, Daylight comes, and once again, My shadow returns and will remain, Until on a specified day, The border and shadow will fade away.

How kind of you to comment, R.J. It is frustrating when you cannot do the things you used to and took for granted. I agree with you; we're still here today, and at 85, I am very grateful for that. I hope you are keeping well. Take care, Shirley

I am getting a bit melancholy in my dotage, Deb. Everything is going too fast for me. I sometimes overthink, which I am trying not to do. I hope you and Peter are OK and feel better about coming home. The weather is lovely today. It makes everything look brighter. Take care, Old Duck XX
