Sometimes the pressures of everyday life can wear you down. Job, home, family, friends, neighbors, Where Does It All End!! Everyone needs to take a little time to themselves once in awhile to sit and think and pray and generally rally their defenses for the struggle that is every day life. We all live under a certain amout of pressure and we just have to learn to manage things so it doesn't get ahead of us. However, no matter how hard you try sometimes STUFF HAPPENS !! Don't look for someone to blame it on, just deal with it.
"WAIT ON THE LORD; BE OF GOOD COURAGE AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN THINE HEART. WAIT I SAY, WAIT ON THE LORD." Psalm 27:14
Sometimes when life's a hectic mess and I feel most alone,
And things don't seem to turn out right, my heart feels like a stone,
Buried deep inside my chest and I need consolation,
I have a secret place I go for rest and meditation.
A quiet place where I can go and lay my burdens down,
A place where tension slowly ebbs, lifts pressure from my brow.
My special place is not a room that anyone can enter,
Or follow me intruding on my inner sanctum's center.
I found this place within myself, a strong and sturdy fortress,
Where I can rebuild self esteem and strengthen waning prowess,
To face once more the daily grind, the endless worldly contest,
I sally forth now self assured, I can and will make progress.
