My scars will live longer

In the tapestry of time, our scars shall speak,
Each one a story, a tale, unique.
They're not just marks etched in our skin,
But symbols of battles fought and victories within.

They speak of nights endured in silence,
Of days where courage was our reliance.
Each scar a reminder of the wars we've faced,
Of struggles conquered, of fears embraced.

They're not signs of weakness, but of our strength,
Proof that through turmoil, we found our length.
So let them linger, these scars we bear,
For they're the testament to all we dare.

In the symphony of life, our scars will sing,
Of resilience, of hope, of everything.
So let them live longer, let them shine,
For in each scar, our stories intertwine.

Pretty interesting angle on 'scars' there, Kamogelo. (Mine are all work-related. Pretty dull, I confess). ~ Gershon
