My Savior Saved Me

There are times when life seems just too hard,
And bad luck seems to be my only card.

Sometimes I feel like a little lost child with outstretched hands,
Hoping someone will find me, someone who understands.

There are days when you feel like you’re up against a starved and angry bear,
And no one neither listens nor do they seem to really care.

My problems are mine so I shall bury them deep within,
Until all the hurt and anger subside and I can see clearly once again.

Until I reach that day all that I can do is bow my head and pray,
And listen with all vigilance to what our Father in Heaven has to say.

To light the lamp unto my feet and guide my steps with a gentle heart,
And let darkness that has been cast upon me, once more forever part.

My faith I have let waiver some but still it is what keeps me going strong,
The love of the Lord will help me to endure and guide me from the ways of wrong.

For this is something that will pass, and let us sing praises to His name in song,
For to Him all burdens I have given, it is to Him my heart belongs.

Amen my friend...I feel quite the same, especially as of late. But yes, everything is transitory, and your blessings will come back around, they always do. May sunshine find you - Much love, Kristin
