My Savior

I rejoice every morning
And I call out His name
I’m driven, and inspired
by His claim

Life has no meaning without His love
He holds me in his arms, cradled like a dove

When things get me down
And hope is afar
I call on His strength, that shines like endlessly a star

He’s helped me make choices when I wasn’t sure
He’s a shadow of hope in a darkened door

He is gracious and right
Intelligent and humble
And makes me accountable
If I should stumble

He has given me will and desire abound
And He listens to me, without making a sound

He has been watching over me since the day I was born
And He shall be with me at the end, when I have gone
