My Salvation
when you smile it erases all of my pain
it washes away the clouds in the sky
Your smile gives me a rainbow after the rain
Its amazing how much harder I work and try
If I know the reward is that upturned face
I will not rest until I know I have won
Your smile in my direction is my form of grace
my salvation from all of the sinful things I have done
my day is brighter and more filled with hope
If I can see that beautiful smile
It gives me the strength I need to cope
And it even keeps me happy for awhile
