My Rock

I’m just a man, nothing more nothing less,
With the exception of knowing Jesus which makes me truly blessed.

Before I walked the path alone,
Now I walk with the greatest man ever known!

My companion, friend, caregiver, and the one that gave the greatest wealth,
The one I turn to in prayer and can restore us to good health.

He’s a listener and my teacher, the role model for my life,
A man who died for all our sins, troubles, and strife.

The Man who bridged the gap between us and opened Heavens gates,
The center of the universe but still allows us to choose our own destiny and fate.

He stands outside your door and knocks,
With the offering of Heaven, for He is the Power, He is the Rock.

You have to invite Him in, He will not trespass,
But His arms are open wide and His love none can surpass.

If you need a friend someone who truly cares,
Open that door, invite Jesus in, feel the love He has to share.
