My Request

Make me whole again,

Help me my strength regain.

Give me what has been taken,

Don't leave me here forsaken.

Show me the path I must follow,

Live in my heart which is now hollow.

Show me the way to you,

Show me the proper way to serve you.

Give me the wisdom I need to survive,

Show me not to live, but to be alive.

Instruct me in your good ways,

Help me be a person who faith conveys.

Take me by the hand and show me your wonders,

Don't ever leave me alone to hopelessly wander.

Help me be the person you expect out of me,

Help me as I embark on this journey.
