My Reasons For Life

I loved once
I had children
But they were taken from me
They were mine
I loved them and they loved me
I lived for them and they lived through me
They were my light
Now they're gone.......
Taken from me as if i did anything wrong!
I am a waitress
They said i was too poor to raise children
But i survived
We never had the extras but we had what we needed
There were no name brands but they had clothes
There were no sweets but it rotted your teeth anyway
It was not a palace but we had a home
What we lacked in material we made up for in love
They loved me
And I love them
All we had was each other
But they were taken from me
They are gone
I am alone
