My Reason D'Etre
I thought I had power and might
I could win all my fights
But as struggles came and went
And I would bow down totally spent
You with you love and gentle words
Would always urge me softly forward
There is no corner or any dark place
That can scare me with you in this race
Your sweet honesty and caring truth
Rejuvenates my drooping youth
Now whether storm or sunshine
Your importance to me is divine
