My Realization

You count every second,
As you wait for the weekend,
You count every minute,
As you impatiently sit,
You speed through homework,
And scram from work,
You run through the clock,
And count each tick-tock,
Await some event,
Or party or appointment,
But then...you blink,
You can't help but think,
"Where is my life going?
What am I doing?"
Perhaps its time to stop,
And all your worries drop,
Forget about tomorrow,
Will you live? You don't know,
It's today that you should live for,
So later you can remember,
Blissful days and happy memories,
And not any forgotten worries.
