My Purple Lipstick


Sadly gone ,but not forgotten
from your dispenser full of grace
the magic colour purple
upon my lips did place.

A colour filled with wonder
that matched my bright-blue eye's
that could never set asunder
the oh-so-joyous surprise.

How good it looked, how good to see
that riotous splash; that helped me, to be
not him but HER, not he but SHE
awaiting womanhood
that's me !

This seems very interesting and the concept of using purple is very significant. I can associate both melancholy and a royal feeling with the use of the colour imagery.

hey , thanks sis, me too, the eye shadow makes my bright blue eyes pop ,and the lippy makes my teeth look whiter. ha ha something to do with chemistry and the blue hughes. Elizabeth.xxx
