My Pumpkin

Your hands are so tiny Your fingers so small, made from a miracle I cannot comprehend it all, Tiny feet made to walk this earth Ten little toes to match Taking you on a journey that life has patched. I hear your heart beating as you lay on my breast Am feeling you breathing, one breath at a time from your chest A signal of life makes me happy and blessed. Love outpouring, now I can rest Worrying not, now that you are at your best, Resting peacefully in my arms. I leave you in his capable hands To guide you along life’s pathway As he propels your success My pumpkin, my sweetie pie, my blessed

Karen E, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

There are rooms in our hearts we know nothing about until we have a child. Suddenly, the world should be greener, the sky bluer and the world needs to be safer - everything matters, including the hours we mothers can spend just looking at our baby(ies). May every baby born be loved and wanted. I enjoyed this, and I guess you can tell, I felt it ... CayCay
