My Promise

When everything around seems wrong,
You feel there's no one to belong,
You must not fear.
When doubts begin to reign your  mind,
A truth will save you, and you'll find --
I am sincere.

When distance appears to part us,
And there's no bridge for words to pass,
I am still here,
Speaking the language of the heart.
The wind tells you, though we're apart
That I am near.

When time appears to move slowly
And waiting makes you feel weary,
Don't surrender.
As I have promised you before --
Bringing with me my soul and more --
I will be there.
