My Prize
Because your eyes shine bright…
Even in the darkest times
When uncertainty comes ‘round
Your faith lights our way
We’re one…when confusion clouds
No divisive minds
Strong in the promise
Unified for all time
Husband and wife
God tests our fidelity…
No weakness abounds
In a world of Evil
We covet our bond
I rejoice in your arms…
In the love that we’ve found
You can trust in my heart
Being apart
Is not for us
For eternity our souls will mate
Too late…nothing can separate us
In the Master we trust…
For all things -
Our reward is the joy He brings
And my Prize…
The Light in your eyes.
