My Pride

You are my pride and my joy
you're now a man, my little boy.

You never complained, not even a fuss
when dad was gone, left three of us.

A big brother you are the best
A friend and companion, you surpass any test.

Now you've gone to serve and protect
a man like you, what else would I expect.

Where ever you go whatever you do
just want you to know, this mom LOVES YOU!
