My Precious One
The hurt and pain you once felt dear
Has fled away it's gone from here
You came from darkness to the sun
No more in pain my precious one
The poems I write are not complete
Until you read them yes my sweet
They lack the touch that from you comes
No more in pain my precious one
I could not ask for any more
I'm glad to see your open door
Your love to me outshines the sun
No more in pain my precious one
I hope to share all that I have
As each will be a balm a salve
Our lives will not become undone
No more in pain my precious one
