My Poem,My Child

My Child, My Poem *** Call me off the wall, call me insane! But each poem I create was birthed in pain! It's formatted in love, then it's wrapped in a blanket...pink. With specific words to have you both love and to think. I leave my creation on a street In the City of Poetry Soup. Untended and so very alone! I pray someone pays attention to her and reads her. My poem, my child~waiting in the streets. Alone~in a poetry zone! October 18, 2019

As a mother and a wannabe poet, I can well relate to this cute little ditty, especially the humorous reference to Poetry Soup city!
