My Planting Ways
The flowers grow in mini spurts in broad daylight.
But weeds can spring up eight feet tall overnight.
Renegade trees have taken over my lovely flowers.
I clipped them down to the ground April in her showers.
This year they returned more determined than ever to be.
Overplanting has caused shade all over by bush and tree.
The sun cannot reach the flowers clearly now at all.
That’s on me. I am the master gardener afterall.
