My Place
There is an imaginary land that I can see.
There I don't have to be myself, I can be me.
I don't have to show this fake personality.
I wish here was there and this was reality.
I can't stand being who you've come to expect.
But the person I am, you won't ever come to respect.
I've shown glimpses of who that person is,
you want someone else, existence, you won't accept his.
You can make fun of me and my game.
Here I am who I am, no reason for shame.
I am done being someone else for you.
You talk to me as a friend, but you have no clue.
