My Pick For the Contest

If I had to choose a friend
And justify my pick
I think it would be fun
But to pick just one's the trick

You see, there's many people
And I'm sure that you'll agree
That Year in and year out
They've all meant so much to me

After pondering my list of friends
And flipping through my Favs
I knew deep down to write about
The closest ones I have

I'm sorry if I miss your name
And you reed this with a sigh
But , these are so very dear.......
They're Me, Myself and I

Chorus
where ever I go that's where I find myself
And when I meet me, it's never someone else
I like to have me always be around
I always lift me up and never let me down

Thanks Jan, My wife's sentiments exactly! But, if I had to pick, you would have definitely been in the top three. The other two members.......well I think I'll just keep their names to myself......lol

lol I have to admit I found it hard to choose just one person and by choosing yourself you don't risk hurting the feelings of other worthy poets - sheer genius Jerry!:-) hugs Jan xx
