My Pet

on           my
                                              lap     cat
                                             sits   cute
                                            fur adorned
                                           feline beauty
                                             my lovely
                                                Rosy
                                              my pet
                                          ears upright
                                       listens to my
                                     melodic sweet
                                   words I utter to
                               gently say to her as
                            she curls up beside me
                             in lissome slinky style
                              precious thing of mine 
                                   my animated delight
                                        the lively pet I love
                                         g     her so very much
