My Peanut Butter Fairy

O, she is merry My peanut butter fairy Spread smooth as whipped butter or lumpy as chunky nutter She blends with jelly or jam with bananas and lettuce too; I am only puzzled that others tease me for eating sandwiches that please me As well, many nabobs of negativity warn me of peanut butter's inferiority to healthier foods that taste so yucky But I am the grown-up kid, so lucky Old enough to shrug off attacks on my fairy Young enough to dine on PB&J with some sherry

Excellent choice peanut butter is my absolute favorite choice for any any time in the day with jam. Lovel, love it - known to be sexy if you eat a lot of peanut butter! Hahaha! Love the last line and your bizarre taste of sherry with peanut butter! Good natural PB is what I eat only, not that the commercial brands. I also like good unadulterated humus. / M

I see that when taste buds got doled out, we must have been in the same line. PB, humus -- Heavenly!... As for PB and sherry: Sherry worked well as a rhyme, but does it really taste good with PB? I'll keep that one 'under my moustache,' unless they both come up by themselves LOL. Thanks for the view and the viewpoint, 'M!' ~ 'G'

I had a peanut butter sandwich today :) I crushed up some walnuts and put some atop plain old peanut butter. But no jelly.

I am the only one in our house that loves PJ, never tried it with jelly (jam) it just doesn't float my boat lol, your poem made me smile GW:-) hugs Jan xx
