My Pain

What have I to gain From all my pain Wasted years that have flown by The regrets I hold in which make me sigh The rationalization of possibly being a little to late Knowing it was you who has always Been my soul mate What have I to gain From all my pain The wonderful memories that I hold dear The thinking you would always be here Moments pass time moves on And it's for the past we long What have I to gain From all my pain You Oh how I wish all the time that were true Yet I close my eyes at night Then wake every morning Still feeling so exhaustedly blue I try always not to cry for you But I do My life will go on I will push through Even if I have to be without you That's what I have to gain From all my damn pain
