My Own Worst Enemy

I am made of fire
And stone
But my heart beats rhythmically with a tone...
too powerful for weak ears to hear
The oceans within me break way to the tides
And I'm left here losing my mind

I am made of questions, poetry, and care
Wrapped up into one whole being who is constantly gasping for air
I am a soldier in a war not meant to see
Battling the darkness, my demons...
And most importantly...

Me.
