My Own Quick Sand

Who I am, does not matter you see,
it’s the words in which I write to thee.
For in each poem, deep truths are there,
I write to you, because I care.
I don’t know you, just the same,
yet we are all caught up, in life’s game.
I know what pain and loss, truly is you see,
I know exactly, how this life can be.
I’ve survived through many, of deaths gripped hand,
while sinking, in my own quick sand.
I am now, up there in my years,
I’ve had my share, off suffering tears.
So I write about these things, you see,
I share them with you, in my poetry.
The knowledge didn’t come in that way,
there was a toll, that I had to pay.
 It’s been three years now,
in the silence for me,
a difference in my life, I can truly see.
So now I write from experiences, and I share them with you,
the words I speak, are more than true.
In them contain both, life and death you see,
it’s just, now, I put them where there suppose to be!
