My Own Beat
My heart beats different like it’s out of control
Sometimes it closes from feeling hurt
Sometimes it’s on a roll
I know it feels so deeply
About different things in life
And feels so passionate about different things
Because it’s been under a knife
But that love that I feel so deeply
Keeps me on my different path
Sometimes you may see me crying
But I mostly I have a laugh
And I do care for everyone
For I know what it can be like
To be put aside for so long
To feel like you’re on a lonely hike
So I will keep on pushing out my love
Because it is my thing
And will always try to be optimistic
For who knows what life can bring
