My Open Window

I awake and rise from my bed, stretch my arms as I take a deep breath, look out the corner of my eye, and see life passing me by, out my open window it all goes, all my dissapointments, sorrow, and woahs, I gaze down at the snow so pleasent and pure, that wasnt there last night thats for sure, just to touch it could be my cure, I stay secluded inside my own self, for fear that my heart will one day melt, I know I have played every card that my life has delt, Out my window there goes my life, as it left it cut me like a knife, Wriiten By Author Joseph Adam Burchett 1/14/12

When first you rise from a sleep filled night, And stretch your arms up t'wards the sky, As you look out your window breathe in deep, The fresh clean air breathe out in a sigh. Let the sun come in, wipe sleep from your eyes, And listen to the song of the birds outside, Then rush to greet the morning bright, Don't sit inside and let life pass by. God Bless, JB
