My Only Star
Gazing up at the inky sky
The mysteries it seeks to hide
I search for my only Star
A brilliance amidst lesser lights
Convey this knowledge, a simple truth
A beacon strives, strides and rides
Through the darkest tunnel
The call to life
Something shapeless, formless, imagined
So tangible, so visible so realized
Felling barriers, times and dimensions
Present, incarnated breath infused
Wing my thoughts, my dreams, my sighs
Yonder the abyss, the chasm of guise
Oh but only to bridge, to reach, to submerge
This song, a crescendo, convulsing me asunder.
