My Only One

I don’t want to ever wake up
And don’t find you there with me,
I don’t want to ever call you
and hear nothing
but
an endless quietness.
although we fight,
shout,
and cry,
I’ll always make you proud,
I never had before
The fear to lose you forever,
I never knew your value
Until you were away
Me having fun
and you feeling the pain all alone.
when I looked deeply in your eyes,
I felt the love you feel towards me.
When we sat alone and talked
I felt happy and warm.
When I was sick
lying on my bed weakly,
the kiss you gave me refreshed me.
the coldness in me was expelled,
when you held my both hands tightly
with all the love and care you have,
mom, I love you…
