My Only Love

It was almost heaven love,
the kind most never know
and when we had to say goodbye
I felt it in my soul.

The pieces of my heart just broke,
It will ache forever
on every memory, I do choke
to forget you, will I never.

You gave my life so much adventure,
a world so full of laughter
our love was like that of literature
just not so much disaster.

Though we had times not so good,
we beat each and every odd
things turned out as they should
and now you're back with God.

When I gave you our last hug,
I said goodbye to my best friend.
I will see you soon my love,
for stories like ours, never end.
