My One Too
Where is the man I married
with the huge heart and the mighty courage
to stand by me.
She makes you meek.
Do you believe me now, this time last summer
your eyes looked down upon me, judging me, calling me
crazy.
Well I'm not feeling that crazy anymore, the
truth has finally set me free.
I empowered you.
Of this lifetime, there was only you, my world, my life was you.
All I had in a lover, a friend, and a community, no real home, no real roots, or
solid ground to stand on.
And she had all of that, All those friends, so many.
Roots from a past, present, and future where she grew up such strength in numbers.
She had it all.
Yet it wasn't enough, was it? She needed to have my one too …
