My One and Only…. Why am I smiling? After having walked a mile I am seeing you My One and Only… If I could bend the wind I would have flown To see the one I call mine You are more beautiful Than any dove Among the reasons I am so much in love Not just on the outside Do you thrill me! Shawn, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. Linda, thank you for the welcome. I will follow-up on your suggestions. Poetic Skills? I don't really know if that fits me. I am exploring to determine if I have any skills. From time to time I have said or written things that friends have felt I should publish. I do enjoy reading others poems and often find myself filled with awe as the writers capture some unique or universal truth, emotion, etc. I welcome your friendship and critique All The Best Shawn
