My Officer's Prayer

As Is Sit Here Behind The Wall,
Care, Custody & Control Of Inmates One & All.

I Wonder What God Will Say,
When I Stand Before Him On That Day?

He Knows That I Have Not Always Been Good.
And I Didn’t Always Do As I Should.

With The Inmates Sometimes I Have Been Rough.
To Survive In Here, An Officer Has To Be Tough.

I Think I Know What Might Be Said,
After Them Lamb’s Book Has Been Read.

Come In My Son, You’ve Done Well,
You’ve Already Spent Your Time In Hell!!
