My Nightmare
Thoughts of the past cloud my mind
They invade my thoughts mercilessly
Arising from the cobwebs of my mind
Bringing with them stings that hurt mercilessly
Things long forgotten and left behind
Appearing before me so vividly
Leaving me hopelessly drained.
