My Muse

In the silent chapters of life's intricate book
My love returned, a second chance, a new look
So here I stand, my pen in hand
Grateful for the inspiration, he brought so grand

He left me once, taking my inspiration
How I missed him, an impossible situation
Him being my muse who ignited my poetic flame
He is my guiding star, my everlasting aim

Our verses spun from love and grace
I found inspiration in his sacred space
He became the ink that colored my quill
In his verses, I found my heart's true thrill

Through the pages of life, our story was told
A tale of resilience, both young and old
His words, a melody, a lyrical embrace
Guiding my pen in an eloquent trace

The ink flows anew, a vibrant stream
Fueled by the return of my inspiring dream
Together we write, in harmony and rhyme
Rekindling the spirit, a dance in time

With him by my side, my ink takes flight
A duet of souls weaving dreams in the night
He, the muse returned a radiant source
Breathing life into my verses he’s my guiding force

Ahhh...the elusive Muse. Its a pity we cannot always call our Muse up to order. I suppose that is why our best poetry is unplanned and usually 'off the cuff' so to say. Great rhyming poetry, Poetess - enjoyed immensely! :) john

Hey Brenda.. Your this poem effectively explores the themes of love, inspiration, and the symbiotic relationship between the poet and the muse. The language is both expressive and reflective, creating a resonant and uplifting experience for the reader...
