My Mum

You can be compared to mother Theresa
for several different reasons.
You are the glue
even when you feel blue.

You are an idol of mine
And the way you are is more than fine.
You have been through many things
but managed to fly out with your wings.

People have tried to bring you down
but you seem to come out the same old clown
I admire you
And I think it’s about time you believe it too.

Never change the way you are
you have come far
managing to form a perfect star
one day I hope to aspire to be half of what you are.
