-My Mothers Isle

Take me to those fields of green
Where my heart and soul sing
Encircled by the oceans eye
Forever watching

Where the air is clean
The wind blows free
A land wholesome and strong
Natures beauty an unending sight
This is where I truly belong

An old world charm
Quaint and grand
Aged, worn and rare
Secrets to keep
Stories to tell
Heritage, tradition to share

A land exquisite of beauty raw
Never-ending, wild, free
Fills me with such inner peace
This is where I need to be

This land abound it hugs my heart
Powerful above and beyond
Uncomplicated, simple, connected
An almighty bond

It renews my being
Restores my soul
With clarity and certainty
Lifts my spirit
Opens my eyes
To who I am meant to be

This land so wondrous
Known as “The Isle of Man”
Is where my mother was born
Where her life began

Now I share my mothers Isle
With the man who holds my heart
As we roam this wondrous land
She is there by my side…hand in hand
On natures heavenly work of Art
