My Mother - a Fanatic

a lover of things

which are next to godliness. . .

she cleans with gusto

for the Senryu on Mother Contest of Jenish Somadas

(although our interests are very different in many way, I think I got from her my nature of being fanatical about all the things I love!)

Your mum reminds me of mine, Andrea! Cleanliness was one of her priorities. She made miracles in the house, even with seven siblings running all around! Regards // paul

I can hear my mother through your poem saying, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". Maybe you could sponsor a contest for Senryu poems where the 3 lines start with the letters "O", "C", and "D"! Love this, Andrea.
