My Mother

Oh my mother how thoughts do arise in my my mind thinking of you!
with a heart full of memories, i will hold too.
for you are cherished always and forever will be.
and not a day or night will pass from my eye,
that a tear i will not cry.
alas my soul is heavily broken asunder into.
and how shall i ever know joy and peace, again without you.
for i long to kiss your reddish cheeks and to hold your hand.
to hear your voice say - i am home once again.

We love those we call mother whether by nature or by fate. Excellent write. I wrote one called Mother's Hands you might find interesting. Nice job and a wonderful tribute to your mother.
