My Mother

My Mother is the Greatest Woman that I have ever known.
Perhaps this feeling is primal simply because I entered this world from Her womb,
but I'm inclined to believe it's because she played a major role in how I have grown.
I've been called Loving, Compassionate, Sympathetic and Sensitive.
If These Virtues Are Truly Mine, My Mother Passed Them On.

Indeed she did pass them on, "Bill." Your virtues, inherited from your wonderful mother, are so evident in your poetry. Although my mother passed long ago, I know that much of her lives on in me. You touched my heart with this tribute. Love, Carolyn
